OAG signs deal to provide Alitrip, Alibaba’s online travel platform with market leading air travel data

Beijing, 21 January 2016: OAG, the global leader in air travel intelligence, is today announcing a service agreement with Alitrip, one of China’s leading platforms for online travel, to provide its market-leading suite of real-time schedules, flight status and analytics products tools

China’s online travel industry is estimated to grow in double digits year-on-year with online travel revenue anticipated to reach $75 billion by 2017.

The Service agreement with OAG is designed to provide Alitrip with the world’s most comprehensive database of real-time airline schedule changes and flight status information, giving Alitrip access to the most reliable and global aviation analytics available in the marketplace. 

From today, Alitrip will have access to OAG’s Dynamic Schedules, Dynamic Flight Status and full suite of Analyser products. OAG’s Dynamic Schedules provides instant access to more than 900 airlines globally; Dynamic Flight Status provides real-time flight status information including cancellations, delays, block times and terminal changes; OAG’s Analyser products combine to identify trends, spot commercial opportunities and run high-impact reports to understand market conditions and competitive behaviour.
